British Automaker Aston Martin has revealed the 2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato Concept developed in collaboration with the Italian design house Zagato based on the V12 Vantage to celebrating the sensational iconic DB4GT Zagato’s 50th anniversary, which the first DB4GT Zagato shown to the public in late 1960 as a racing car. The collaboration partnership takes inspiration from the past, to create the most beautiful and sought-after cars as well as a modern descendent of classics such as DB7 Zagato, V8 Vantage Zagato and the DB4GT Zagato.“The Zagato design language is a perfect complement to our design and engineering expertise. After 50 years of the two companies being associated with each other the partnership has produced some of the world’s most iconic cars.” said Dr Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin.The 2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato Concept makes first debut at the 2011 Villa D’Este Concours in Lake Como, Italy on May 21st and makes it’s racing debut in racing version form, which Aston Martin is preparing the 2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato Concept for the track at Nürburgring on May 28th and the Nurburgring 24-hour race on 25-26 June. |
